What is a boudoir session?
A Boudoir Session is your opportunity to have fun, feel amazing and be beautiful. And it's our opportunity to document your feminine side.
How you look is important but how you feel is even more important. We will help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, be you and let go. All the while, we'll be documenting your curves, your silhouette, your playfulness, and your confidence.
You will feel more beautiful and more confident after
your session. Promise.
Where will it take place?
Sessions take place at a location of your choice. Most often they are shot at a modern, super chic, or retro hotel but have also been shot at private homes, or outdoor locales. Once you contact us we will talk about what location would create the perfect backdrop for your session.
What should I wear?
Once we determine location we will talk about wardrobe. Your wardrobe selection will depend on the styling of your shoot.
Vintage Look - High heels, corsets, a vintage robe, draped pearls, a birdcage veil, and maybe a feather fascinator.
Things He/She likes - Does your significant other like surfing? Then wear a bathing suit (or not), use a surf magazine as a prop, and maybe we'll throw some bubbles into the mix. Computers? Bring that Macbook Pro and we'll include that. Baking? Bring a little apron and some cupcakes and we'll make something sweet. You get the picture...
Classic - Anything that you feel beautiful in... lacey bra and panties, his white button down, a white tank top and boy shorts... you call it.
Bridal- Bring your wedding shoes, your veil, something blue (perhaps). ;)
Not sure? No worries... We'll find figure out what's perfect for you.
How much does it cost?
Session Fee: $200*
for areas outside Oceanside a travel fee may be applied.
What's included in the Session Fee?
Pre-session phone consultation/planning discussion
Creativity and coverage by Elizabeth
Approximately 60-90 minutes of on-location photo coverage
Private "best of" online gallery of images
a viewing/ordering session
a CD with the top 15 photos
and shared rights
Prints, albums, etc. are purchased a la carte. Please inquire for detailed pricing information.
what should I bring
In addition to you and your wardrobe, shoes, accessories... Some people like to bring...
a cocktail to assist them in chillaxin.
an Ipod with a rockin' or chillin' playlist
(Note: I find that music helps to create the perfect environment more than just about anything... except maybe the aforementioned cocktail).
